In the nineties the territory of the former USSR reminded a flower bed on which in plentiful quantity (amount) "were born" and churches "ascended". The big stream of the western attendants has rushed in the Post-Soviet countries:, tents, huge stadiums of the yearned people. People have yearned on spiritual things — it was very new to them, strange and not clearly. Newborn churches grew improbably quickly. Foreign preachers have been simply shocked by such growth of churches. After all for them who with milk absorbs the Evangelical Message, since Sunday school, it was a nonsense. They have got used to which, as a matter of fact, are not growing. There is a certain number of parishioners, members of church which fluctuates slightly. And here, even in small small towns, there were churches which totaled thousand parishioners. Under the certificate (testimony) of one person, in the small regional centre of Ukraine, the church for two years from 80 members has grown to 500!
And though the majority of preachers was visitors, the western variant of management of church has not got accustomed in the Post-Soviet countries. Privately the pastor became the head of church and has taken of a key, predominating position. Certainly, there was also a church council (advice) which too had the right to vote. But, as a matter of fact, the meeting of church council (advice) reminded meeting of board of directors where the pastor had 51 % of actions (shares), and last word all the same remains behind it (him). Most likely, the communistic past affected — the leader for whom it is possible was simply necessary for our people is boundless to trust and on which it would be possible to shift responsibility for decision-making.
To argue with pastors dared nobody, as it was everywhere preached about obedience. Therefore contest of authority of the pastor was related to contest of authority of the God. Thus, round the pastor thanking its (his) flock, regal inviolable atmosphere was created. The whole doctrines and revelations about obedience were created. So, one pastor punished leaders of church that "guilty" should wash up a toilet to reconcile. Other pastor said, that you reconcile, if clean footwear to the senior pastors. As a result people had a perverted understanding of obedience. The impression was made, that to please the God, it is necessary to turn to a blind kitten about what not to ask and not to call in question the decision of the pastor.
It has immediately born fruit. Loud falling of Christian leaders of the countries of the post-Soviet territory have forced people to reflect on infallibility of pastors and the correctness, decisions accepted by them. Splits in have begun, groups dissatisfied management gathered, in a pointed manner left church, with noise collecting under the wing of all dissatisfied and receiving damnations on road. To the remained parishioners in order to avoid "seduction" forbade to communicate with "rebels" as them began to call. Thus, as well as during old Soviet times, relatives and friends appeared on the different parties (sides) of barricades.
Some pastors to keep the power in the hands, have even more toughened management of flock. They left all unions that before anybody not to report and be not under control. Have ceased to invite other preachers to itself in church that the church casually has not heard any "heresy" and that it is nobody flock was to compare the pastor. "Cleanings" of apportions with the Christian literature, audio - a video production, libraries started to be spent (lead). Members of church did not release (let off) at conference, in Christian educational institutions. The church turned to the ministate. The pastor as much as possible deleted the person from flock and became shrouded in a certain mystery, paternal (why) its (his) acts became even less clear.
Others, on the contrary...
