Dmitry Vladimirovich Mason - the Bishop of Association of Evangelical Churches of Ukraine and the pastor of Church of the World Harvest which visit (attend) about two thousand believing people. It (He) is one of influential attendants of the Gospel, known not only in Ukraine, but in many other things the countries. Dmitry Mason has been repeatedly recognised and recommended by many influential attendants, as one of especially presented (endowed) and progressive Christian leaders of our generation. The church of the World Harvest is included into a three of the greatest churches of Ukraine.
Dmitry, what for you means to be the pastor?
For me to be the pastor, means to be the attendant. It is possible to be the attendant and not to be the pastor, it is possible to be the pastor and not to be the attendant. And consequently, whoever the person was, the pastor or someone another on a field Divine it (he) should be the attendant first of all.
For all time you did not have a desire to leave service and to be engaged in something to another?
At the initial stage I had such thoughts because I have begun church absolutely without any financial support. At me never was the foreign sponsor, any mission which would help me. However, and till now is not present. Well it or is bad, I still even do not know. But that fact that there was nobody who could call to me and is interested, as at me business, as my condition or churches and as we overcome circumstances. Therefore, being in such situational loneliness, were think, that can be it is necessary to be engaged in something another because circumstances which were before me, seemed as insuperable mountains. But not once, when I prayed for it to the God, the Lord consoled me, and I felt, that the Lord spoke to me to remain in service, and now I understand, that behind all it any fruit which I did not see then was expected, but I see now.
That you can tell about "orange revolution" in Ukraine, after a year. Many people who stood in a frost on the Maidan, defending freedom, now test disappointment. Whether you think, what the power incorrectly used the national credit of trust?
I will tell the opinion. The disappointment condition testifies to emotional instability of the person and its (his) tendency to have any illusions in the life. Personally I always advise to people - never create illusions and then you never will be disappointed. I accepted active participation in events one year ago not as the pastor of church, and as the citizen. I underline it because on what party (side) people would not be, all it is conditional enough and situational. Time has passed (has taken place), we remain one people, and the main thing, that the God loves both one and other party (side). But as the citizen, I left that...
