Frequently, people leave "battle-field" literally for one step to a victory. They come off second-best and start to justify itself that on their victory simply there is no Divine will, forgetting that they should make any efforts to receive desirable result.
Whether you remember history how the Lord has concluded a precept with Avraam? Avraam should prepare all for a precept: to pin up animals, to spread out them how the Lord, in general has told, it (he) should execute the part, and only after that, the God has come and has executed the part. Today we will talk about a constancy and persistence in our Christian life.
Persistence and constancy... Sounds somehow dullishly at first sight. Isn't that so? After all each of us likes to achieve the objective or to receive answers to prays almost instantly and it is desirable in the most easy way. Anyway, I still never met the person who would like to wait and put efforts to receive that he wants. Persistence and a constancy — bad it or high qualities? Whether they are necessary to us and what for?
Let's look, that speaks the Divine Word in this occasion..11:5-10 "Also has told it (him): we will put, that somebody from you, having the friend, will come to it (him) at midnight and will tell to it (him): the friend! Lend me three breads for my friend from road has come to me, and I have nothing to offer it (him); and that from within will tell to it (him) in the answer: do not disturb me, doors are already locked (closed), and my children with me on bed; I can not rise and give to you. If, I speak to you, it (he) will not rise and will not give to it (him) on friendship with it (him) on its (his) persistence, having risen, will give to it (him), how many asks. And I will tell to you: ask, and it will be given you; search, and will find; knock, and will open to you for any asking receives, and searching finds, and knocking will open".
In this place of the Writing it is spoken about persistence. The Lord urges us to achieve the objective and not to reconcile before any circumstances. If you have a confidence of the Divine Word if you know that belongs to you by right persistence to achieve the objective will be necessary to you only.
