In the summer of 2006 the Security service of Ukraine has finished work on and to streamlining of the documents concerning in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic 1932-1933 which were stored (kept) in Branch state archive SBU and archives of regional bodies. The collection which gathered throughout three years, totals 130 documents. These are is standard-administrative documents, instructions, circulars, instructions which arrived from central bodies OGPU, certificates (testimonies) of eyewitnesses, materials of criminal cases. Little by little on a surface the interesting facts began to emerge. It has appeared, that has been organised, not only on purpose to destroy Ukrainians as the nation, but also with another, not less, and can be, even more terrible purpose. The second purpose about which it was forbidden to speak, has appeared the desire to finish with believers whom in Ukraine was more than in other union republics — after all, actually, the improbable awakening which has begun in the twenties of the last century, was born in Ukraine. Very few people knows about it is after all, after war the official history of the USSR has been copied anew. With such scale awakening the atheistic mode is reconciled could not further. It was necessary to get rid of believers. For ever. However, we will begin with background.
Year of great crisis
1929 or as it (him) still name, "Year of great crisis" became critical and in mutual relations of believing Christians with the Soviet power. If till this time, church freely developed and spent (lead,have seen off) the vigorous activity among the population so, that some old residents still remember that at that time Protestants was more than orthodox, and on fashionable then public debates of atheists with Christians, almost always atheists came off second-best, since 1929 of a community and church have started to test huge pressure of the authorities which was expressed in restriction of their rights and activity, and also mass reprisals. As a signal to the beginning of persecutions the Circular of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions 53 "About strengthening of antireligious propagation" (on March, 1st, 1929) and the second All-Union congress of militant atheists (April, 1929) has served On which the "antisectarian" resolution has been accepted. Besides, decision RSFSR from April, 8th, 1929 provided obligatory registration for all communities. 4th article of the constitution of RSFSR has been changed also, not resolving henceforth to preach outside of a community...
